Handicap Player: From the tee the player
should use a long iron or a fairway wood and favor
the right side of the fairway. Since the green slopes
from right to left the player should have as his approach
shot, a wedge. The "easiest" putt will be
from the left, front of the green. Being long here
could be a problem since the "rough" at
the rear of the green is often long and would present
the player with a down hill chip.
Average Handicap Player: Should favor
the right side of the fairway and should use a driver
or three wood. A shot pushed to the right will offer
the same obstacles namely the trees. A "hook"
off the tee could mean the "practice area"
this is marked as "out of bounds. Again, the
best approach is from the short left or an iron to
the center of the green and look for your par. |
