Hole
Low
Handicap Player: Depending upon the wind
and other factors, the player should play between
a 6 and 3 iron. If the wind is in your face, play
the higher lofted club, so that you will be in front
of the green or short of the green. Because the green
slopes right to left, you want to be short and leave
yourself an uphill approach.
Average
Player: Here, the concern is mainly distance.
The choice of club can be any from a 3 iron up to
and including the driver. The wind is the governing
factor. If the golfer lands on the bank or in the
"valley," the left side of the hole is the
correct approach. |
